Hāpara and Google Drive

The student's view of Google Drive when Hāpara Teacher Dashboard is deployed

Students do not interact with Teacher Dashboard on their device. When they access their Google Drive they will see new subject folders that are created when Hāpara is deployed. These folders help students to organise content in their Google Drive. Whenever a student creates or edits a file the teacher has instant visibility of that file via their Teacher Dashboard. When students create new documents directly inside of the Hāpara subject folders, they are automatically "shared" with the teacher and immediately visible in the corresponding student panel of the Teacher Dashboard. See self-paced course designed to provide an overview of Hāpara Teacher Dashboard below. Recommended for all teachers.

Learning includes opportunities for students to confidently navigate their Google Drive, understand the function of their folders and how they can create and organise their documents and files in their Hāpara Google Drive folders.

Hāpara Teacher Dashboard is a teacher-facing tool. It contributes to making learning visible and enables teachers teachers to gain visibility of student docs in Google Drive and blogs. It also supports real time collaboration. We recommend teachers harness this self-paced course designed to provide an overview of Hāpara Teacher Dashboard and to introduce the tools that will help you to start using Teacher Dashboard.
